About the role

Solution Engineer building production decision systems on RelationalAI’s enterprise AI platform. Modelling customer data, shipping PyRel solutions, and turning platform gaps into product improvements.

Responsibilities

Own customer outcomes end to end, including discovery, modelling, implementation, performance tuning, production hardening, and success measurement
Design and ship decision solutions using ontologies, rules, graph analytics, optimization formulations, and predictive models
Scope and build platform capabilities when customer workflows are blocked, then contribute generalized versions upstream
Provide Product with reproductions, patterns, and specific failure modes to influence the roadmap
Conduct technical discovery through workshops, demos, and proofs of concept
Document work in the repository and create reusable reference implementations
Root-cause failures and avoid compounding technical shortcuts
Deploy working decision systems against customers’ real data in their Snowflake accounts

5+ years building and shipping production software, including experience inside customer or partner environments
Demonstrated end-to-end ownership from an ambiguous problem statement to production
Strong SQL
Deep familiarity with cloud data platforms, including Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, and Redshift
Strong programming ability, primarily Python
Comfort with declarative or logic-style languages is advantageous
Ability to read unfamiliar source code, interpret stack traces, and debug systems not personally written
Ability to work with both VP-level business stakeholders and staff data engineers
Comfort operating in high-autonomy, high-velocity, low-instruction environments
Experience with optimization, constraint solving, rule engines, graph algorithms, ML on structured data, semantic modelling, data pipelines, governance, or enterprise technology/AI/analytics platforms preferred
