About the role

  • Product Manager guiding strategy and delivery for Remote’s billing platform. Building finance products supporting compliant global employment through software and human-powered services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and guide strategy for a key Finance product area as Billing Platform Product Manager
  • Work with cross-functional engineering and design teams to identify important problems and shape iterative solutions
  • Build solutions for finance, billing, and other financial services at Remote
  • Own the end-to-end product experience across human-powered services and software
  • Lead complex solutions autonomously
  • Manage internal expectations for complex projects, products, and features
  • Build effective product roadmaps and strategies
  • Translate strategic plans into near- and mid-term goals
  • Align product roadmaps with department and company objectives
  • Serve as subject matter expert for the product area
  • Contribute to scaling and growth plans
  • Ship improvements quickly and iteratively
  • Support a high-throughput, high-ROI product team
  • Use business KPIs to align team work and metrics with business improvements
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, stakeholders, business operations, and sales
  • Share product techniques, processes, and learnings across the Product organization
  • Communicate and promote the team’s work to customers and internal teams
  • Work asynchronously and transparently
  • Contribute to tactical and strategic decision-making
  • Report to the Group Product Manager

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a product manager in billing, invoicing, or a similar area, ideally at a high-growth company
  • Proficiency in Cursor, Claude Code, or a similar tool
  • Ability to autonomously build, debug, and ship functional prototypes or small code changes with AI tooling
  • Strong strategic and tactical product judgment
  • Demonstrable, self-driven results that have moved a product in the right direction
  • Passion for creating seamless and effective products amid complex challenges
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and collaboration skills across departments
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken
  • Experience working in a remote environment is a bonus, not a requirement
