About the role
- Software Developer building innovative tools for Slice's infrastructure and enhancing developer experience. Collaborating with teams to deliver high quality software and improve processes.
Responsibilities
- You'll build innovative developer tools that make Slice’s developers build and release high quality software faster, and improve our infrastructure platform.
- You’ll primarily work in Python to build CLI tools and web applications that integrate with our Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
- You'll collaborate closely with our developers and other stakeholders to deliver high quality tools to help them get their job done.
Requirements
- Proven experience and passion for using backend software technologies such as Python, Go, or Ruby, automated testing.
- Interest in working with infrastructure technologies like AWS, Kubernetes, Github Actions, and Docker.
- Comfortable working remotely and collaborating asynchronously with teammates in different timezones and from different backgrounds
- Able to clearly express opinions on development processes, tooling and infrastructure, while respecting the thoughts and opinions of your peers
