About the role

  • Social Media Lead building Spellbook’s social presence from scratch. Turning AI contract-technology launches and thought leadership into measurable audience growth.

Responsibilities

  • Build Spellbook's social presence, including voice, calendar, and strategy
  • Own the social media calendar across all platforms from ideation through scheduling and publishing
  • Balance day-to-day content with long-term strategy tied to company milestones, product launches, and pipeline goals
  • Monitor and respond to comments, mentions, and direct messages
  • Build relationships with the legal tech community, customers, creators, and journalists
  • Define and protect Spellbook's voice and visual identity across social channels
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and executives to turn company news, product launches, and thought leadership into shareable content
  • Ghostwrite and provide editorial support for executive posts
  • Build a data-driven social strategy based on reach, engagement, trends, cultural moments, and platform mechanics
  • Track reach, engagement, follower growth, and share of voice; use results to improve strategy
  • Perform other responsibilities as required

Requirements

  • Track record of growing a brand's organic social reach and engagement with specific numbers and outcomes
  • Experience running social media for a B2B SaaS company
  • Ability to own a social calendar end-to-end, from quarterly strategy to writing captions and publishing
  • Strategic planning and operational execution skills
  • Proven understanding of what makes content spread
  • Strong writing skills and ability to adapt tone across platforms while maintaining a consistent brand voice
  • Comfort with social management and analytics tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or native platform analytics
  • Must be legally able to work and reside in Canada or the United States at the time of application
