Responsibilities

- Project computations
- Preparation of HSSE related pre-planning documentation
- Field and office staff supervision
- Analysis and least squares adjustment of raw field data using Trimble Business Center. Other software where proficiency is required include AutoCAD Civil 3D, Leica Cyclone & Global Mapper
- Plan review
- Reporting and timely delivery on final returns
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, timelines and project budgets
- Invoicing
Requirements
- Experience in residential and commercial land development, transportation, environmental and industrial sectors
- Valid Driver’s License
- Experience with GPS, total station, LiDAR and UAV survey equipment
- Experience with survey computational and least squares adjustment software (Trimble Business Centre, Global Mapper, Leica Cyclone and AutoCAD Civil 3D)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Solid understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements as pertains to cadastral land surveying
- Eager to learn and develop professionally
- Self-motivated – this role will appeal to those that thrive in a fast paced environment
- Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the land surveying / geomatics industry
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, client management or team leadership position
- Ontario Land Surveyor (OLS) designation preferred
