About the role
- Quality Engineering Fall Intern at Sun Life creating and maintaining automated scripts for quality engineering team. Gaining experience in a fast-paced IT environment while collaborating with professionals.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain Automated scripts using Tosca, Cucumber Framework with Java-based Selenium and ReadyAPI
- Prepare quarterly Web Browser and Mobile device STATS
- Help maintain QE SharePoint site and Confluence pages
- Contribute to other initiatives as needed
Requirements
- Graduation date of December 2027 or later
- Knowledge of Java programming language
- Basic understanding of different programming languages – Java, Python, SQL Scripting
- Familiarity with different Testing types e.g. Functional, Non-Functional
- Familiarity with Testing tools e.g. qTest, Appium, Selenium
- Familiarity with BDD Framework Cucumber
- Familiarity with Web and Mobile platforms
- Technical writing skills
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Ability to thrive in a team setting and also work well independently
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to change and learn quickly
- Enthusiasm to learn new technologies
- Interest in self-learning
