About the role

  • Wealth Operations Officer processing transactions and resolving operational issues for TD, a major North American bank. Supporting clients, partners, compliance, and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Execute transactions accurately, on time, and according to established guidelines, procedures, and SLAs
  • Refer or escalate processing and operational issues to appropriate partners
  • Identify service-delivery improvements and support process-improvement initiatives
  • Validate information and perform authorized adjustments for incoming transactions
  • Maintain relationships with customers, partners, and vendors and respond to questions or concerns
  • Complete assigned workloads and business processes while meeting service and productivity requirements
  • Apply due diligence to internal and industry regulations and operating procedures
  • Manage confidential correspondence and information with discretion
  • Investigate and escalate non-standard or high-risk activities
  • Comply with operational frameworks, methodologies, and the Bank Code of Conduct
  • Participate as a team member, support a positive and inclusive work environment, and share operational knowledge
  • Communicate issues, project status, and relevant day-to-day information
  • Participate in performance management, development, and cross-training activities
  • Report generally to a Team Manager

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree/college diploma preferred and/or 1+ years relevant experience
  • Working-level knowledge of the business unit and operational functions
  • Knowledge of internal and industry regulations
  • Knowledge of regulatory issues/requirements for supported jurisdictions
  • Understanding of Anti-Money Laundering and Business Continuity Management frameworks
  • Ability to complete transactions involving manual and automated processes across several systems/applications
  • Ability to investigate and escalate non-standard or high-risk activities
  • Ability to work within defined parameters and decision-making authority
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to work 37.5 hours per week
