About the role
- Senior Business Systems Analyst leading Workday Retirement and Benefits requirements, integrations and delivery. Supporting TD’s global banking technology ecosystem and HR platforms.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior-level business systems analysis, solution requirements leadership and application-management support for Retirement and Benefits, Payroll and Compensation capabilities within Workday HCM and the broader HR technology ecosystem
- Partner with business, product, engineering, architecture, security, data, risk and external vendors to translate business needs into implementable solution requirements
- Lead assigned technology initiatives and workstreams from discovery through implementation and stabilization
- Manage risks and dependencies, facilitate timely decisions, and drive delivery
- Partner with Retirement and Benefits stakeholders, Product Owners, vendors and technology teams to understand objectives, processes, pain points, scope, priorities and outcomes
- Develop business, functional, non-functional, data, integration, security and operational requirements
- Translate requirements into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, use cases, data mappings and other solution artifacts
- Lead requirements for SSO, user access, authentication, role mapping and access-related user journeys
- Partner with IAM, BISO, Cybersecurity, Architecture, Engineering and vendors to define and validate authentication requirements
- Plan, coordinate and support system integration, business acceptance, user acceptance, regression and production validation testing
- Provide senior-level analysis and coordination for operational intakes, production incidents, service requests and break-fix issues
- Act as an escalation point for application and operational issues
- Identify opportunities to use approved AI and automation capabilities
- Support business cases, benefits identification, RFI/RFPs and vendor service level agreements
- Ensure adherence to privacy, legal, compliance, data governance and regulatory requirements
- Participate in knowledge transfer, cross-training, performance development, coaching and team activities
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
- 5–7 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of Workday HCM business processes, security, reporting, integrations and application dependencies
- Experience working with third-party administrators, benefits providers, payroll providers or other HR technology vendors
- Experience working in Agile Delivery (Scrum)
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Experience defining requirements for data exchanges, integrations and SSO connectivity
- Experience leading medium-to-complex technology workstreams involving multiple business, technology and vendor stakeholders
- Advanced knowledge of supported applications, system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows and business rules
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Workday certifications, relevant business-analysis credentials or Agile certifications are considered assets
