About the role

  • Personal Banking Associate Trainee guiding TD Canada Trust customers on banking products, accounts, and digital services. Supporting branch transactions, customer problem resolution, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Engage customers in day-to-day advice needs, service transactions, digital education, and customer problem resolution related to banking solutions
  • Understand customer needs and guide customers to the right contact person for appropriate solutions
  • Exercise good judgement in confidential matters
  • Educate customers on mobile, ATM, and online banking
  • Support frontline staff with scheduled cash and non-cash transactions
  • Resolve critical issues and report non-standard matters to management
  • Recommend improvements to work practices, branch operations, and processes
  • Participate in timely and accurate completion of business processes and procedures
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, reflects business intentions, and complies with relevant regulations and TD's Code of Conduct and Ethics
  • Promote team effectiveness and participate in personal performance development
  • Share industry knowledge to achieve common objectives
  • Complete training program and transition to a compatible position within the assigned region

Requirements

  • High School diploma and/or 1+ years of relevant experience
  • Investment Funds Canada (IFC) or equivalent within 90 days of start date
  • Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in a related field preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), branch software and internet
  • Knowledge of banking solutions and processes to advise customers
  • Strong administration, organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to exercise initiative and handle several tasks and changing priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Established customer experience skills
  • Mobility within the Assigned District, including potential transfer and geographic relocation within the assigned region
  • Geographic mobility is a condition of employment
