About the role
- Senior Integration and Test Engineer developing verification plans for Telesat's LEO satellite communication system. Involved in testing activities and maintaining lab setups with vendor collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining system verification and validation plans of the Telesat LEO constellation communication system
- Participating in various testing activities across the Telesat Lightspeed system with vendors and other partners
- Maintaining lab setups and supporting field activities when required
Requirements
- B. Sc. in Electrical, Computer or System Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong Understanding of Linux, IP and Routing Protocols.
- Experience in test case and defect tracking tools (Jira, Jama)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with management, engineering teams and partners / suppliers.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience working with geographically dispersed teams.
- Experience with various traffic generators like Ixia, Spirent
- Highly collaborative team player
- Experience in MEF standards.
- Proficient with MATLAB, Python or C++.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Automation experience with programming languages like Python.
