About the role

  • Accounting Analyst supporting cost accounting, inventory valuation, and financial reporting at global steel manufacturer Tenaris. Reconciling accounts, analyzing profitability, and managing accounting KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accounting and analytical support to the accounting department
  • Provide reporting for profitability and cost analysis
  • Support budget preparation and performance measurement
  • Administer the catalog of cost centers
  • Type accurately and prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
  • Prepare orders, general ledger postings and statements
  • Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
  • Enter key data of financial transactions into the database daily
  • Inform management and compile reports and summaries on activity areas
  • Work in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
  • Analyze information and prepare deliverables such as reports and processes
  • Develop specific projects within the Accounting department
  • Develop and manage Key Performance Indicators to monitor and measure area results
  • Maintain regular contact with other company areas and interact across different hierarchical levels

Requirements

  • 1-5 years relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
  • Competency in MS Office, including Excel, Access and Power BI
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Aptitude for numbers
  • Experience using SAP modules FI/CO is a plus
  • Master's degree or relevant certification is an asset
