About the role

  • Join Thirdbridge as a UI/UX Designer. Collaborate to create user-friendly software solutions and integrate accessibility.

Responsibilities

  • Understand client goals and user needs by conducting interviews, workshops, tree tests, and heuristic audits, then translate those learnings into concrete product direction.
  • Design and document solutions at every stage of a project: personas, sitemaps, user journeys, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Solve usability and findability problems in simple, intuitive ways while balancing user objectives with business goals.
  • Build accessibility into designs from the outset to ensure inclusive experiences.
  • Translate brand strategy into coherent, polished interfaces with attention to detail that makes the experience delightful.
  • Plan and facilitate user tests, analyze results, and iterate accordingly.
  • Build and evolve design systems in Figma (components, variants, tokens, styles, and documentation) to ensure product consistency and speed up delivery.
  • Use AI to accelerate production of wireframes, user flows, visuals, and interactive prototypes.
  • Collaborate with project managers, product managers, and developers throughout delivery to ensure smooth handoffs and faithful implementation of designs.
  • Write necessary specifications and documentation, and defend your design decisions to the team and clients by grounding them in data and project objectives.
  • Develop and implement processes that help us deliver world-class designs from ideation to finished product.
  • Support business development (estimates, pitches, client proposals).

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in digital product design, with a portfolio that demonstrates research-driven decisions as well as high-quality visual execution.
  • Established practice in user research (interviews, usability tests, tree tests, heuristic audits) and experience turning research into clear product direction.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout and Variables.
  • Strong fundamentals in typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy, and experience creating and applying established interaction patterns.
  • Knowledge of accessibility principles and basic AI concepts, with the ability to identify how AI can transform our products and processes.
  • Comfortable with generative AI basics and eager to integrate it into your workflow.
  • Experience designing for enterprise software or services.
  • Ability to estimate effort, prioritize tasks independently, and go beyond static mockups to explore interactions.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS to better collaborate with developers is a plus.
  • Bilingual (French and English), both written and spoken.

Benefits

  • An unmatched company culture: our top priority and greatest strength;
  • Relaxed environment: we work to live, not the other way around;
  • Group insurance and telemedicine;
  • Regular team-building activities;
  • Monthly personal allowances;
  • Five weeks of paid vacation (four flexible weeks and the company is closed between Christmas and New Year's Day);
  • Unlimited sick leave;
  • Flexible hours: we generally work daytime hours, but schedules are fully flexible and all meetings are virtual.
