About the role

  • Staff Product Manager leading evolution of Twilio's Core Commerce Platform into a productized engine. Driving high-throughput metering and accurate invoices for global revenue management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the evolution of Core Commerce Platform
  • Build robust, scalable financial systems
  • Architect the roadmap for a commerce-as-a-service model
  • Design self-service tools and documentation for internal teams
  • Own the event-to-invoice data lifecycle
  • Partner with Finance and Compliance for revenue recognition
  • Provide customers with granular visibility into usage
  • Translate complex financial requirements into technical specifications
  • Embed AI into the commerce platform
  • Conduct deep-dive investigations into the commerce lifecycle

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience
  • 4 years focused on commerce, billing, or financial platforms at scale
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong technical acumen with experience in APIs and extensible platforms
  • Data-driven decision maker with a track record of defining KPIs
  • Excellent communication and executive-level stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with SaaS, large-scale platforms, or multi-product ecosystems
  • Deep experience with Agile and related agile tooling, such as Jira
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
