About the role
- Accountant preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and cash-flow forecasts for Uline, North America's shipping, industrial, and packaging-materials distributor. Improving reporting to drive actionable business insights.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial information to accurately record transactions and prepare financial statements
- Review financial records and reports for alignment with standard accounting practices and internal control guidelines
- Develop and maintain timely reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
- Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts
- Partner with business units to manage and continuously improve reporting
- Drive actionable business insights
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- CPA designation
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or similar
- Proficiency in Excel or SQL is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
