About the role
- Digital Product Owner facilitating software delivery and improvements at Verisk. Leading development processes for Core Lines Platform in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates a global staff with the following roles: Digital Product Owners; Developers; Manual and Automatic Testing; Analytics; Content
- Drive the release process and improvements for our Core Lines Platform software regularly, reliably, and with high quality.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute software releases.
- Improve the deployment experience for everyone in the software organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or related experience) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4+ years’ experience leading squad and chapter teams in an Agile development environment.
- 4+ years of work experience with content or B2B, process transformation and web platforms.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Experience establishing and gaining cross-functional and leadership alignment on a technology product vision, roadmap, and implementation plan in a matrixed organization.
- Ability to effectively document business requirements into articulate functional requirements to ensure alignment on stated business objectives across teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage complex compliance requirements.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and courage to challenge the status quo to develop innovative and focused approaches.
- Regular measurement of results and pivoting based on our test and learn strategy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with senior leaders.
- Comfortable working in a highly collaborative and results-driven environment within a growing business unit where we are concurrently learning & building as we drive towards product launch.
- Demonstrated understanding of the legal, regulatory, privacy, and compliance requirements within the insurance industry.
