Responsibilities
- Play a crucial role in the product development lifecycle.
- Work collaboratively with fellow product designers, researchers, content strategists, product managers, engineers, and customer support.
- Craft user-centered experiences that help micro business owners thrive by crushing business financial management complexity.
- Navigate user and business needs during the discovery phase and iterate on product design solutions.
- Understand and engage in the creation and evolution of Wave's product strategy.
- Create and execute a research plan in partnership with the User Research Team, conducting concept testing, usability testing, and user interviews.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional product design experience designing for mobile and web apps, with strong knowledge of experience and visual design fundamentals.
- Humble, open to receive and give constructive feedback, and collaborate with the whole design team.
- Experience conducting research such as user interviews, usability testing, surveys, etc.
- Use Figma as your primary design tool and have experience prototyping.
- Passionate self-starter, exceptional communication skills dedicated to delivering quality.
- Thrive in an autonomous and collaborative environment while working cross-functionally on design projects from product discovery through to delivery.
- Stay on top of current design trends and best practices.
