About the role

  • Product Manager at Warner Music Group driving marketing and growth automation. Collaborating with teams to build solutions that align with catalog marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Build deep empathy for our labels, operations teams, and global partners by maintaining a constant dialogue with them. Uncover their underlying pain points, ensuring that every solution we build truly solves their problems and makes their daily workflows more seamless.
  • Define and communicate the long-term vision and roadmap for your products, ensuring it aligns with WMG’s catalog marketing and automation strategy.
  • Work in a "Product Trio" alongside Engineering and Design to solve complex problems, resolving trade-offs and tackling risks.
  • Serve as the primary author of PRDs and the "executor-in-chief" for your projects, driving development from ideation through technical delivery.
  • Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, internal messaging, and launch plans. You don't just "ship" code; you ensure the organization is ready to adopt it to achieve maximum impact.
  • Drive the vision to market our catalog through scalable application of automation.
  • Own the development and rollout of self-serve tools for marketing teams.
  • Partner with marketing teams to translate data into actionable insights for marketers and agentic workflows.
  • Continuously monitor product performance metrics, user feedback, and market trends. Use this data to make informed prioritization decisions, identify areas for improvement, and manage technical debt to optimize the product over its entire lifecycle.

Requirements

  • You have at least 5 years of product management experience, ideally with exposure to digital media, marketing technology, or AI/high-scale automation systems.
  • You can discuss system architecture with engineers and business constraints with executives, mitigating Value, Usability, Feasibility, and Business Viability risks upfront.
  • You own the "Why" and can easily adjust your communication style for different audiences, from developers to more senior stakeholders.
  • You have a proven ability to unstick a team, make difficult prioritization decisions, and navigate the ambiguity of a global business.
  • You have strong opinions, held weakly; you are quick to share credit with your team and accept responsibility when things don’t go as planned.
  • You are a music fan motivated by the fact that your work directly impacts an artist’s ability to grow their career and get paid.
