About the role
- Romanian AI Tutor training SpaceXAI’s Grok for multilingual speech and voice interactions. Annotating audio, translating content, and evaluating accents, pronunciation, and prosody.
Responsibilities
- Train and refine Grok for voice interactions, speech recognition, and multilingual auditory experiences
- Provide labels, annotations, recordings, and inputs for multilingual audio projects
- Translate and localize UI copy, prompts, responses, and other written content from English into Romanian
- Curate high-quality audio data representing linguistic and prosodic details such as intonation, rhythm, and accent
- Collaborate with technical staff to improve speech modulation, accent variation, noisy-recording handling, and multilingual audio processing
- Improve annotation tools for efficient audio workflows
Requirements
- Native proficiency in Romanian, with exposure to diverse accents, dialects, or regional variations
- English proficiency at minimum B2 level, with clear, natural vocal delivery and pronunciation suitable for audio recording
- Strong auditory perception for speech nuances, accents, pronunciation, intonation, and audio quality
- Ability to handle multilingual audio content and evaluate speech accuracy, cultural vocal expressions, and contextual interpretation
- Ability to transcribe audio accurately across accents and varying audio quality
- Ability to translate and localize text accurately between English and Romanian
- Comfort providing high-quality voice recordings and feedback on audio samples in multiple languages
- Strong comprehension and independent judgment when evaluating ambiguous, noisy, or accented speech
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, detail-oriented, and organizational skills
- Commitment to developing sophisticated multilingual audio capabilities
- Personal device, if used for work, must be a Chromebook, Mac with macOS 11.0 or later, or Windows 10 or later
