About the role

Responsibilities
- Design and validate technical integration architectures for engineering tools within the Airbus Canada ecosystem.
- Define and validate the integration of Fibersim and Syncrofit.
- Design the integration of CATIA V5 R33 macros.
- Ensure CAD tool compatibility with VDI and Windows 10/11 environments.
- Assess integration constraints and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
- Ensure the continuity of engineering functionality during the technology transition.
- Design integration architectures between Core PLM and SAP ERP.
- Define the extraction and exposure of Core PLM data, as well as Design Index flows to future ERP systems.
- Define application interfaces, APIs, and data exchange models.
- Participate in defining integration architectures with SAP S/4HANA.
- Define historical data migration strategies.
- Design the extraction, loading, and archiving of data from Optegra, OpenText, and eRoom.
- Ensure data continuity and integrity during transfers.
- Incorporate security, confidentiality, and Export Control requirements.
- Analyze and resolve complex technical roadblocks.
- Support technical teams in architecture decisions.
- Collaborate with PLM, CAD, ERP, and infrastructure teams.
- Identify integration risks and propose appropriate solutions.
- Contribute to the reliability, security, and robustness of the industrial technology ecosystem.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in solutions architecture / information systems architecture within an aerospace engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of PLM platforms and concepts, particularly ENOVIA, PDM, and TDM.
- Very good understanding of the CAD ecosystem, including CATIA V5, CATIA macros, and CATIA V5 R33.
- Experience integrating CAD and engineering tools in virtualized VDI/Citrix environments running Windows 10/11.
- Knowledge of Fibersim and Syncrofit.
- Significant experience designing data integration architectures between PLM and ERP systems, particularly SAP/SAP S/4HANA, APIs, application interfaces, and data flows.
- Ability to design data extraction and exposure architectures for data originating from Core PLM and the Design Index.
- Experience designing technical strategies for migrating, loading, and archiving historical data.
- Good understanding of interoperability between engineering systems and enterprise management systems.
- Ability to design robust and secure architectures suited to a complex industrial environment.
- Understanding of security requirements related to data control and export restrictions (Export Control).
- Excellent analytical and complex technical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with architecture, engineering, and integration teams.
- Experience with Airbus, Boeing, or Spirit AeroSystems; Optegra/OpenText/eRoom systems; PLM migration or transformation projects; aerospace PLM/SAP S/4HANA integration; technical data and product configuration management; and projects subject to Export Control constraints are assets but not mandatory requirements.
