About the role

  • Support Canadian Retail Banking with portfolio management, financial modeling, and Anaplan migration. Collaborate with senior management on high-profile projects.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior management to understand and implement updates to financial models. Perform maintenance and updates of financial and data models. Execute monthly roll-overs, ensuring accurate data ingestion and alignment with business requirements. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and ensure accuracy. Prepare and update financial presentations for business review using PowerPoint. Collect and process data to support inquiries from various business groups. Conduct day-to-day investigations, generate reports, and fulfill data requests from models and databases. Support ad hoc projects, including transformations and cloud migration efforts with Anaplan. Demonstrate flexibility by contributing to tasks beyond primary portfolio responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance-related discipline. Financial modeling and data analysis experience. High proficiency in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, functions). Investigative mindset with strong problem-solving skills. Versatile, adaptable, and proactive team player. Positive attitude with eagerness to learn. Minimal ramp-up time and ready to start immediately. Nice to Have: Approximately 3+ years of relevant experience. Experience with PowerBI or SQL.
