About the role
- Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking a Junior IT Administrator to provide day-to-day technical support for users and IT systems, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues in a Microsoft-based environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 / Level 2 technical support for end users. Troubleshoot Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and client-side email issues. Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory. Install, configure, and troubleshoot PCs, laptops, and peripherals. Assist with device management using Microsoft Endpoint Manager / Intune. Troubleshoot basic network issues (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Use ticketing systems and remote support tools to resolve user issues. Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when required.
Requirements
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Operating Systems (Windows 11), Microsoft 365, troubleshooting PC and laptop hardware. Knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer service skills and attention to detail. Preferred: Experience with Windows Server administration, Mobile Device Management (Microsoft Endpoint Manager / Intune), IT ticketing systems, remote support tools, and basic knowledge of IT security best practices.
