Seeking Project Leaders with civil engineering and concrete experience to manage full lifecycle projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate all phases of project management using approved governance. Prepare project scopes (WBS), estimates, schedules, risk plans, and gate packages. Manage project execution including cost control, schedule tracking, and change management. Lead RFP preparation, tender evaluations, contracting, and vendor coordination. Liaise closely with construction and operations teams to resolve design, scope, and field issues. Chair project meetings with internal stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. Prepare project turnover documentation and track deficiencies through closeout. Support approvals, permits, and compliance activities with internal and external agencies. Maintain awareness of best practices in construction, estimating, scheduling, and project controls.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory). Concrete experience (e.g., structural concrete, foundations, rehabilitation, heavy civil). 6–8 years of project management experience in heavy industry, utilities, or generating stations. Experience with cost estimating, scheduling, forecasting, and contract management. Strong understanding of construction methods, codes, QA, and health & safety. Ability to manage competing priorities across scope, budget, schedule, and quality. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational skills.
