About the role

  • Seeking Junior to Senior IT Project Managers for public sector projects. Lead medium-complexity initiatives, manage risks, controls, and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

  • The Mid-Level Project Manager is responsible for leading medium-complexity projects and engages with senior management. Responsibilities include: delivering projects within a public sector environment; developing feasibility studies, business cases, and budget proposals; managing cross functional and specialized risks impacting multiple departments or domains; establishing and maintaining project controls; managing change and budget requests; drafting communications plans; ensuring project execution aligns with organization governance; building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships; managing sensitive issues; and facilitating collaboration among diverse stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Project Management certification or designation (e.g. PMP) preferred. However, an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may also be considered. > 4 to 7 years as an IT Project Manager.
