About the role

  • Project Manager/Leader for I&IT infrastructure initiatives in transportation. Hybrid role in Toronto, 6-month contract with possible extension.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage I&IT infrastructure projects, including IT enhancements, operations, and enterprise applications. Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes. Oversee infrastructure lifecycle initiatives and modernization efforts. Manage change requests and CAB presentations. Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure project stability. Develop and present project status reports and executive updates. Ensure initiatives meet customer service goals, internal stakeholder requirements, and public sector standards. Support implementation planning and guide technical teams during deployment. Proactively identify bottlenecks and keep projects on track.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience managing I&IT infrastructure initiatives. Strong experience with IT lifecycle management and infrastructure planning. Proven ability to manage project risks, changes, and stakeholder expectations. Experience delivering executive-level reporting and presentations. Background working in technology-driven project environments. Experience implementing IT infrastructure, applications, and enterprise software systems. Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of technologies such as Microsoft, Cisco, or HPE environments. Experience with ITSM processes and ServiceNow. PMP certification (or equivalent).
