About the role
- Senior Associate – Risk Analytics role performing daily risk monitoring and reporting, maintaining risk tools and dashboards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid Toronto setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily risk monitoring and reporting (VaR, ETL, Greeks, Backtesting). Maintain and enhance risk reporting tools and BI dashboards. Identify, analyze, and resolve risk reporting issues. Collaborate with Investment, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams. Support system upgrades, UAT testing, and internal controls.
Requirements
- 2–5 years in risk, investment, or quantitative analysis roles. Strong understanding of risk measurement, derivatives pricing, and portfolio risk. Proficient in Excel and SQL. Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Experience with Python, VBA, R, or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau). Familiarity with risk systems (FIS Adaptiv, Bloomberg PORT, MSCI, Aladdin). CFA or FRM designation (in progress or completed). Asset management, banking, pensions, insurance, hedge funds, or consulting experience is a plus.
