About the role
- Senior Project Manager to lead multiple projects in a banking environment. Hybrid role requiring 10-15 years of project management experience with Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of project delivery including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to define and align on project objectives. Monitor progress and proactively address risks, issues, and dependencies. Provide regular status updates to senior leadership, including key milestones and risk assessments. Manage project resources effectively to ensure optimal utilization. Facilitate collaboration across cross functional teams including business, technology, and operations. Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and align with business goals. Maintain comprehensive project documentation including decisions, risks, and scope changes. Ensure adherence to internal policies and project management best practices.
Requirements
- Must Have: 10-15 years of Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a Project Manager role. Experience working within Personal and Business Banking or a similar business banking environment. Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies. Experience managing small to medium sized projects with combined budgets up to $5 million +. Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across both technical and non technical audiences. Strong problem solving skills with a proactive approach to risk management. Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platforms. PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred. Nice to Have: Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated environments. Experience delivering projects that span both business and technology domains. Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment.
