About the role
- Senior Project Manager/Business Analyst for large-scale system modernization initiatives. 100% onsite in Fredericton, NB with government/public sector experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead modernization initiatives for a complex licensing system, including requirements documentation and validation. Develop current-state documentation for existing systems and integrations. Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and stakeholder requirements. Produce detailed Business Requirements Documentation (BRD) for system upgrades. Contribute to modernization roadmaps and platform upgrade strategies. Manage and coordinate development, QA, and internal BA teams. Oversee project scheduling, backlog management, change requests, and operational work. Lead onboarding of systems into Azure DevOps to support automated testing. Coordinate work across multiple teams for highly integrated environments. Lead system upgrades (e.g., MQ upgrades, Micro Focus CM upgrades). Manage multiple concurrent projects based on capacity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working on large, complex systems with integrations. 5+ years of Project Management experience. Proven experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams. Strong leadership, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Excellent communication, planning, and organizational abilities. Nice-to-have: 2+ years as Senior Business Analyst on complex projects, 3+ years as Project Manager on complex initiatives, 3+ years performing senior BA activities, 3+ years leading cross-functional teams, 2+ years leading multi-jurisdictional projects, 3+ years working with financial systems integration, 3+ years supporting government systems, experience with Azure DevOps, automated testing, registry/licensing systems, modernization frameworks.
