Responsibilities
- The Salesforce Developer (Banking) is responsible for building and maintaining enterprise-grade solutions on the Salesforce platform, specifically leveraging the Financial Services Cloud (FSC) data model. This role focuses on automating the customer and advisor journey—from onboarding and KYC to complex loan approvals—while ensuring total compliance with financial regulations and data privacy standards. Key responsibilities include FSC implementation with custom features, core banking integration via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware, security & compliance implementation with advanced protocols, complex automation using Apex and Flows, advisor UI/UX development with Lightning Web Components, and DevOps & governance management through CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- Required Technical Skills: Expert-level Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and JavaScript (specifically for LWC). FSC Mastery: Deep understanding of the FSC managed package, including Actionable Relationship Center (ARC) and Life Events. Data Architecture: Ability to design scalable data models that handle millions of records without hitting platform governor limits. Integration Patterns: Proficiency in event-driven architecture and real-time synchronization using Platform Events or Change Data Capture (CDC). Preferred Banking Certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II (Required), Salesforce Certified Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional (Highly Preferred), Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer, Salesforce Certified Sharing and Visibility Architect (Critical for banking security).
