Responsibilities
- Researching and evaluating supplier performance based on price, quality, service, support, availability, and other key factors. Administering and negotiating bids, process specifications, progress reports, and related documentation. Requesting or approving contract amendments, extensions, and related changes. Advising internal departments on contractual rights and obligations. Driving contract negotiations with key suppliers to secure favorable terms, mitigate risk, and maximize value. Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and providing regular updates on sourcing initiatives. Leading complex supplier negotiations to ensure agreements are commercially sound and aligned with strategic goals. Developing relationships with business leaders to support enterprise objectives and influence sourcing/category strategies. Supporting a customer-focused culture while ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and strong third-party governance.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of experience negotiating high-value supplier contracts. 5+ years of experience managing and influencing senior stakeholders. Experience with sourcing, supplier selection, third-party contracting, and category management. 3+ years of experience using procurement and analysis technologies. Knowledge of applicable purchasing laws and regulations. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
