Responsibilities
Respond promptly and comprehensively to customer inquiries and complaints, providing effective solutions
Collaborate with other members of management to establish and maintain customer and vendor accounts
Participate in the entire hiring process for new employees in collaboration with the designated recruiter and the HR onboarding team
Manage the local accounts payable (A/P) process, including creating purchase orders, verifying invoices, and communicating with local vendors and corporate accounting
Manage the local accounts receivable (A/R) process, ensuring that all invoices are issued accurately and on time
Ensure compliance with all company policies, as well as safety rules and regulations
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, including payroll, production, and shipping and receiving reports
Perform various administrative tasks, including sorting and processing mail, answering telephone calls, updating company bulletin boards, and dispatching drivers
Order and maintain office supplies, personal protective equipment (PPE), and first-aid inventory
Support operations by planning and completing administrative projects as needed
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Four-year university degree or 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service environment
Ability to manage demanding deadlines
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Must be at least 18 years of age
Previous experience in manufacturing and/or transportation is an asset
Bilingualism (English) is an asset
