Specialty Sales Representative driving AbbVie gastroenterology medicine sales across Southern Alberta. Building healthcare-provider relationships, executing territory plans, and delivering brand and financial targets.
Responsibilities
Develop robust business plans to execute brand strategy and tactics in the field
Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives
Build strong partnerships with customers and accounts
Develop a high-quality territory plan for Southern Alberta
Create pre-call plans and execute post-call evaluations to improve sales performance
Support key stakeholders' needs, expectations, and challenges
Execute call plans to achieve metrics and optimize coverage of key customers
Build understanding of customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, and clinical expertise
Share market intelligence with the district manager and team members
Differentiate AbbVie's value proposition with healthcare providers
Identify, develop, and maintain disease-state experts and speakers/advocates
Operate within AbbVie's business code of conduct, policies, and applicable laws and regulations
Place patients at the center of efforts while maximizing short- and long-term sales performance
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
Proven track record of success in sales and solid presentation skills
Strong customer relationship and building skills
Excellent business acumen with strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Ability to predict contingent outcomes from customer and competitive perspectives
Solution-oriented approach with innovative ideas and solutions
Leadership and entrepreneurial spirit
Ability to navigate ambiguity and respond to change
Collaborative teamwork with district colleagues and multiple stakeholders
Documented success in leadership and capacity to influence and drive change
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Ease with technology and various tools/systems for day-to-day tasks
Approximately 25% travel, including overnight travel
