About the role

  • Talent Acquisition Partner recruiting go-to-market and technical talent for Absorb Software’s AI-driven learning platform. Building pipelines, advising leaders, and advancing AI-enabled hiring.

Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture candidate pipelines for Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Success teams
  • Work with hiring managers to develop strategies for finding qualified and diverse candidates, especially for go-to-market roles
  • Build talent networks through proactive market research and outreach while fostering a positive candidate experience
  • Use established headhunting strategies and talent pipelines to target candidates for harder-to-fill roles
  • Experiment with AI in Talent Acquisition to improve efficiency, decision-making, and hiring practices
  • Act as an external Brand Ambassador through networking and sourcing
  • Align people, skills, and leadership competencies to ensure the right talent is hired at the right time
  • Represent Absorb on social media to support employer branding and talent attraction
  • Partner with leaders to develop strategies incorporating core competencies and comprehensive interview assessments
  • Maintain current knowledge of employment processes, policies, recruitment best practices, and market trends

Requirements

  • 5+ years of recruitment experience with experience recruiting for go-to-market and technical roles
  • Post secondary degree or diploma, preferably with focus on Business/Human Resources, or work-related experience in Talent Acquisition
  • Solid experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter for direct sourcing passive candidates
  • Demonstrated experience partnering closely with business leaders to develop strong relationships, provide superior service, effectively manage expectations, and deliver an elevated candidate experience
  • Experience in compensation evaluations and negotiations
  • International recruiting experience is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems and experience leveraging technology to create effective processes, efficiencies, and metrics
  • Experience with Ashby (ATS) is a strong asset
  • Must be able to show proof of legal eligibility to work in the country applied to without sponsorship
  • Successful candidates subject to pre-employment background screening, including a criminal record check
