About the role
- Analytics analyst delivering CPG insights, category support, and Power BI dashboards for Acosta Group’s retail marketing services. Translating data into client-ready recommendations and presentations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze CPG data to support category reviews, new item presentations, assortment, shelving, scorecards, and ad hoc business needs
- Build, maintain, and refresh weekly and monthly Power BI dashboards
- Ensure data accuracy and quality across analyses and deliverables
- Partner with business teams to deliver high-quality analytical support aligned with client KPIs and strategies
- Deliver data-driven insights supporting category management and client initiatives
- Translate findings into actionable insights and compelling business presentations
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree
- 1+ year of related CPG experience
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Advanced Power BI skills, including data transformation, DAX, visualization, and dashboard development
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to sit for extended periods, typically 6+ hours per day
- Ability to use a computer, including keyboard and mouse, for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift and carry light items, typically 20+ pounds
- Ability to reach, bend, or stoop occasionally
- Ability to maintain focus and attention for long periods of desk-based work
- Ability to follow clear directions
- Ability to perform repetitive motions consistently throughout the day
