About the role
- Freelance project manager and business process analyst modernizing Vexcash’s short-term lending operations. Delivering IT, automation, and AI implementations from process analysis through user adoption.
Responsibilities
- Run several parallel organizational projects, typically 1–6 months with 2–4 people, implementing IT systems, automation and AI tools in business processes
- Map as-is and to-be processes with process owners using BPMN, flowcharts or another suitable notation
- Write business requirements for development, data and vendor teams, including scope, user stories, acceptance criteria and edge cases
- Establish and maintain project governance, including charter, RACI, plan, risk and issue log, change requests and management status reporting
- Drive adoption after go-live through training, feedback loops and measurement of process change
- Deliver at least one system or process change end to end during the first six months, from as-is analysis to measured adoption
- Build a reusable project toolkit with templates and checklists for future implementation projects
Requirements
- Freelancers must meet the requirements for working on a freelance basis
- Include the proposed monthly rate in the application
- 3–6 years in project management or business analysis in a structured organization
- At least two cross-functional IT implementation, digitalization or automation projects taken from idea to adoption, with demonstrable artifacts
- Solid process analysis and modeling skills in a standard notation such as BPMN or EPC
- Experience writing business requirements that developers or vendors can build from
- Formal project management approach such as PMBOK, PRINCE2 or IPMA, actively applied
- Fluent English (C1+) and Russian
- Everyday use of AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude
- Nice to have: German
- Nice to have: PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, CBAP or IREB certification
- Hands-on BPMN 2.0
- Basic SQL
- Experience with Fibery, Jira, Confluence or similar
- Experience with vendor or SaaS selection and implementation
- Background in fintech or another regulated industry
