Customer Service Representative handling order processing and customer service inquiries. Required experience in manufacturing and proficiency in both French and English.
Responsibilities
Ensure the processing of orders from receipt through invoicing and delivery.
Ensure order accuracy regarding pricing, product configuration, and delivery dates.
Assess the validity of credit requests.
Process merchandise returns.
Provide solutions to customer service inquiries and perform thorough follow-ups to ensure excellent service.
Respond to all internal and external inquiries related to active files/orders.
Participate in departmental technical training activities for new products.
Update the customer database.
Create new customer accounts in the system.
Update sales statistics tables for the territory.
Work in partnership with Regional Sales Directors.
Verify commissions with our manufacturers' representatives.
Support colleagues in the department with daily tasks.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
May occasionally cover reception duties (breaks, absences, etc.).
Requirements
College diploma (DEC)
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within a manufacturing company
Experience in the lighting industry is a strong asset
Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Experience with an ERP system; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX is an asset
