About the role
- Business Analyst supporting ADAPTOVATE’s management consulting engagements across strategy, transformation, and AI. Researching problems, developing recommendations, and helping clients implement practical change.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market, industry, competitor, organisational, and operational research for client engagements
- Analyse quantitative and qualitative information and turn findings into insights and recommendations
- Structure complex business problems into practical areas for analysis and action
- Contribute to strategy, operating model, process improvement, transformation, and change engagements
- Identify and assess AI and emerging technology opportunities
- Research and evaluate Generative AI and Agentic AI use cases
- Build business cases, implementation roadmaps, process maps, operating models, and transformation plans
- Support design and implementation of AI-enabled workflows and process improvements
- Prepare client presentations, reports, workshop materials, data analysis, and executive-ready documentation
- Participate in client interviews, workshops, working sessions, and project meetings
- Capture insights, decisions, risks, and actions and translate discussions into next steps
- Track project milestones, actions, dependencies, risks, and key deliverables
- Work with consultants and project leads to deliver accurate, practical, high-quality client outputs
- Build client relationships and contribute to the client experience
- Support client capability-building around tools, processes, AI-enabled work, and data-driven decision-making
- Contribute to internal research, thought leadership, knowledge development, and new consulting capabilities
Requirements
- Typically 1–3 years of experience in consulting, strategy, transformation, analytics, technology, operations, or another high-performance business environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent research skills and ability to quickly understand new industries, organisations, and business models
- Strong attention to detail and broader business-context awareness
- Confidence working with quantitative and qualitative data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to create high-quality presentations and documents
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI and emerging technologies, demonstrated through practical action
- Interest in applying Generative AI and Agentic AI to real business problems
- Strong learning mindset and willingness to develop new skills
- Comfortable receiving feedback, asking thoughtful questions, and working with experienced team members
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and taking initiative
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in client-facing environments
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Technology, Data, Finance, or a related field
- Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, data visualisation platforms, AI tools, Microsoft environments, or cloud technologies is advantageous
- Willingness to travel as required
