About the role

  • Insights Analyst transforming web, journey, and survey data into actionable content marketing recommendations. Helping Knotch’s enterprise clients optimize performance through analytics and test-and-learn plans.

Responsibilities

  • Master the Knotch One platform and transform complex data into compelling, actionable insights
  • Analyze web analytics, journey analytics, and survey data, including qualitative and quantitative information
  • Uncover meaningful patterns and insights behind the numbers
  • Translate technical findings into clear recommendations aligned with client business goals
  • Develop test-and-learn plans to optimize clients’ content and marketing strategies
  • Collaborate with account teams to tailor reports, insights, and recommendations to client objectives
  • Support client needs by communicating findings and answering technical questions
  • Maintain data cleanliness, accuracy, and statistical validity
  • Investigate data anomalies and uncover the reasons behind results
  • Create dashboards, reports, and presentations that make complex data accessible
  • Work within a Knotch Pod alongside an Account Director, Director of Client Outcomes, Customer Ops Specialist, and Analyst
  • Help enterprise clients turn data into decisions and improve content and marketing performance

Requirements

  • 3-10 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics within marketing, digital analytics, or SaaS environments
  • Prior startup or growth-stage company experience working in fast-paced, agile environments
  • SaaS platform experience understanding subscription business models and recurring customer relationships
  • Required Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics; deep expertise with at least one, proficiency with both preferred
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
  • Excel/Google Sheets mastery for data manipulation, analysis, and quality control
  • SEO knowledge to interpret organic search performance and content discoverability metrics
  • Experience with data analytics platforms such as Optimizely, Contentsquare, or Amplitude
  • SQL for advanced data querying and analysis
  • AI experience utilizing AI to code or create analysis
  • Knowledge of GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)
  • Data science methodologies
  • A/B testing and UX design/testing experience
  • Ability to translate data points into a cohesive story
  • Experimental rigor and data cleanliness
  • Precision and attention to detail
  • Time management skills to juggle multiple client projects simultaneously
  • Presentation ability and data storytelling
  • Proactive attitude and collaborative mindset
  • Curiosity and ability to understand the “why” behind data
  • Commercial awareness connecting insights to business outcomes and revenue
  • Strategic ability and foresight
  • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or Marketing (or equivalent experience) is nice to have, but not mandatory
  • Multiple analytics platform certifications are nice to have
  • Eastern Time Zone location preferred
