About the role

  • Project Coordinator supporting complex infrastructure projects at Arcadis. Working within Rail & Transit, facilitating coordination and communication across multidisciplinary teams in Ontario.

Responsibilities

  • Support the successful delivery of complex, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects by providing coordination across project teams, stakeholders, and delivery partners
  • Assist Project Managers by supporting key project controls, such as scheduling activities, tracking costs, and preparing regular progress reports
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including registers for risks, issues, and actions, as well as governance records that ensure compliance and transparency throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholder meetings, ensuring the preparation of relevant materials and capturing key outcomes and action items
  • Track progress against established project milestones, proactively identify and highlight potential risks or delays
  • Facilitate collaboration across multidisciplinary teams including engineering, systems, and program management by promoting effective communication

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related discipline
  • 3–7 years of experience in a project coordination or project support role, ideally within rail, transit, or major infrastructure environments
  • Strong understanding of project delivery frameworks and controls
  • Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, Excel, SharePoint, and collaboration platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across teams and clients
  • Familiarity with Ontario transit programs and agencies (e.g., Metrolinx, TTC) is considered an asset
