About the role

  • Marketing operations manager building campaign tracking, automation, dashboards, and data governance for Ashby’s enterprise recruiting software. Partnering with Revenue Operations to scale pipeline generation and measure marketing efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain tracking systems for marketing campaigns, including UTM parameters and lead source attribution in HubSpot
  • Lead the design and execution of complex marketing automation workflows
  • Build and maintain dashboards for SEO, website analytics, lead generation, and campaign effectiveness
  • Deliver regular reports on marketing metrics and provide data-driven campaign optimization insights
  • Align Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Business Systems teams around marketing operations priorities and company objectives
  • Lead technical implementation of marketing initiatives
  • Develop and maintain marketing operations documentation and best practices
  • Train team members on marketing technology tools and best practices
  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks
  • Create and manage data segmentation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations
  • Audit marketing systems and processes for data integrity and security
  • Oversee lead management processes and automation rules as the marketing operations subject matter expert
  • Collaborate with Systems and Tooling on tech-stack improvements
  • Evaluate and recommend new marketing technologies

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing strategy and operations, marketing strategic planning, or a similar role
  • SQL knowledge and experience with data manipulation
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of marketing metrics and reporting
  • Advanced expertise in marketing automation tools
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and visualization
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation, lead management, and campaign attribution
  • Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements
  • Nice to have: experience with business intelligence tools such as Heap Analytics and Looker
  • Nice to have: project management experience
  • Nice to have: experience with API integrations and webhook management
