About the role
- Product Manager leading HID’s healthcare RTLS facility solutions roadmap. Driving hardware/software launches, lifecycle management, and measurable provider outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Facilities Solutions segment within the Healthcare RTLS portfolio
- Own the roadmap and delivery of operational solutions impacting asset management, wayfinding, hand hygiene, and environmental monitoring
- Analyze business requirements and define product use cases and requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive product innovation, obtain buy-in, and set expectations
- Communicate solution designs and requirements to product development and business teams
- Support product lifecycle activities, including new product introduction, continuous improvement, and end-of-life processes
- Manage product requirements throughout the product lifecycle
- Manage hardware and software products within the product and solutions roadmaps
- Work with hardware development, software product management, software development, and quality assurance teams to implement and deliver solutions
- Hold project gate meetings to review progress and gain project approval
- Hold core team meetings and work cross-functionally with internal team members
- Collaborate with business partners to develop product strategy and pricing and drive project initiatives
- Support day-to-day product inquiries and issue resolution
- Document and communicate product changes and participate in internal change management efforts
- Drive product strategy, cross-functional execution, measurable customer value, innovation, and competitive differentiation
Requirements
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent field
- Applicants with equivalent education plus relevant job experience may also be considered
- Minimum 5+ years product management related positions within the technology industry specifically with Healthcare solutions
- Experience with SaaS solutions is a plus
- Proven ability to successfully launch products and services globally
- Experience managing a portfolio including both Hardware and Software components
- Expertise in RTLS (Real-Time Location Systems)
- Proven capability of cross-functional collaboration and ability to gain consensus
- Data and analysis driven
- Ability to manage change, ambiguity, debate, conflict, and informed risk taking
- Compliance with relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems
- Travel and fieldwork, including international travel, may be required
- Must possess, or be able to acquire, a valid passport
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which hired
- Applicants must be currently and legally authorized to reside and work in Canada
- Immigration sponsorship is not available
- International relocation or remote work arrangements outside Canada will not be considered
