About the role
- Senior Project Manager leading customer deployment projects across the NAM region for Ateme's video delivery solutions. Ensuring successful delivery and operational handover in mission-critical environments.
Responsibilities
- Play a key part in leading customer deployment projects across the NAM region
- Collaborate closely with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams to drive project execution
- Manage risks and support mission-critical streaming environments
- Establish and monitor project schedules with customers, including tracking milestones, risks, and dependencies
- Manage internal and external resources for installation, acceptance testing, and project launch activities
- Run regular steering meetings and provide internal and external project progress reports
- Coordinate with ecosystem partners to resolve interoperability issues
- Write or contribute to Statements of Work (SoW), Acceptance Tests, and technical documentation
- Conduct or coordinate Acceptance Tests with customers
- Conduct or coordinate training sessions with customer teams
- Track questions, issues, and action items raised throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure projects adhere to quality, performance, and reliability standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- Recognized Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, or equivalent)
- Proven experience managing international customer projects within broadcast, media delivery, streaming, SaaS, cloud, telecom, or video technology environments
- Strong understanding of video compression and distribution architectures, including DTH, DTT, IPTV, OTT, CDN, VoD, and DVR
- Solid knowledge of networking and operating system environments, including Linux, Docker, Kubernetes (K8S), and public/private cloud infrastructures
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and risk management capabilities
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects within customer-facing and mission-critical environments
- Ability to work independently while coordinating dynamic project teams
- Willingness to travel internationally as required (30-50%)
