About the role
- Senior Project Manager overseeing project delivery for a performance marketing agency specializing in mission-driven organizations. Managing project planning, budgets, and team collaboration across multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate multiple concurrent projects to ensure they're completed on time and within budget
- Build, document, and continuously improve project management systems and processes across Creative, Web, Paid Media, SEO, and more
- Own project budgets and partner directly with the finance team to analyze project and client profitability
- Own resource and capacity planning across multiple concurrent projects and teams, identifying staffing gaps or bottlenecks before they become delivery risks
- Work with proposal teams to develop cost estimates and project plans aligned to client needs and internal capacity
- Train teams on processes and drive adoption
- Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration, ensuring smooth handoffs and keeping project teams focused on the end goal
- Communicate project status clearly and proactively to stakeholders
- Stay closely aware of company goals and strategy, bringing forward recommendations that connect project execution to agency-level outcomes
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in project management, with a track record well beyond standard PM execution
- 5+ years in an agency setting, ideally across multiple service lines (Creative, Web, Paid Media, SEO)
- Demonstrated experience building or overhauling PM systems and processes — not just operating within an existing one
- Strong financial acumen, comfortable analyzing budgets, margins, and project profitability alongside a finance team
- Experience with resource and capacity management across multiple concurrent projects
- A clear point of view on how project work should be run, with the confidence to advocate for it
- Asana experience required
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and team leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and AI tools for productivity
- Experience with cloud-based hosting platforms and version control tools
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
