About the role
- Software Developer designing and delivering scalable viewer capabilities at Autodesk. Work on end-to-end features in a fast-paced, cloud-enabled environment.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and continuous improvement
- Design and develop scalable, secure, high-performance front-end applications using modern web technologies
- Translate high-level product requirements into iterative, customer-focused improvements
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, architects, and engineers within distributed teams
- Ensure high engineering standards through peer reviews, testing, documentation, and clean architecture principles
- Learn and apply the company's software engineering and agile practices; identify risks and blockers early and seek mentorship from tech leads and senior engineers
- Leverage AI tools and modern engineering productivity techniques in daily workflows
- Contribute to technical discussions, architectural decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work in a flexible, hybrid environment using modern engineering tools and practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Hands-on software development experience in at least one common language (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred for viewer/web work)
- Proficiency in modern web development (HTML/CSS/JS) and frameworks (React or similar)
- Strong understanding of software testing, debugging, and participating in code reviews
- Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team
- Experience with Agile development practices such as Scrum or Kanban
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
