Seeking Senior Manager, Fraud Risk Oversight for a contract role in Toronto, ON to lead fraud risk assessments and strengthen governance.
About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead the Trust Data Platform team, providing technical, strategic, and people leadership
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Senior Principal Developers to drive technical direction
- Own the delivery and operational excellence of the Trust Data Platform
- Build and evolve foundational data platform capabilities
- Drive the adoption of modern data engineering practices and self-service capabilities
- Establish engineering best practices around software development and operational excellence
- Communicate platform strategy, delivery progress, risks, and business impact to stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of software engineering, platform engineering, or data engineering experience
- 3+ years of engineering management experience
- Experience building large-scale cloud-native platforms on AWS
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and modern data platform architectures
- Experience designing and operating data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses
- Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse technologies
- Experience supporting analytics, machine learning, or AI initiatives
- Excellent communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skills.
