General Liability Claims Representative for business insurance handling liability claims and coverage analysis. Requires analytical skills and proficiency in insurance processes with a focus on customer communication.
Responsibilities
Directly handles business owner liability claims.
Analyzes coverage issues under the Business owners coverage form, garagekeepers, hired non-owned auto, auto services and other standard industry forms.
Analyzes, investigates, and evaluates new loss notices and claim tenders.
Adjusts total auto losses as part of adjusting liability claims.
Expeditiously analyzes and positions claim under applicable coverage.
Collaborates on setting reserves at appropriate level for claims.
Uses good judgment in managing ALAE in claims investigation.
Appropriately documents claim files in accordance with established guidelines.
Obtains and maintains adjuster licenses, as required.

BA/BS degree required
CPCU or other industry designation a plus
State adjuster license(s) a plus
3+ years prior general liability claims adjusting experience preferred
Experience in bodily injuries claims preferred
