About the role

Project Manager overseeing civil engineering services for municipalities and developers. Engaging in business development and collaborating with stakeholders for project success.

Responsibilities

Engaging in active business development
Acting as the key contact on projects working with stakeholders, consultants, contractors and support staff
Preparing proposals and reports in coordination with our proposal team (under the supervision of a Senior Project Manager)
Prepare for and attend project meetings, including presenting to the clients
Coordinate with your Division Manager and other Project Managers to secure the required Binnie resources necessary to complete your project deliverables on schedule
Coordinate with the technical design team for client deliverables, including technical input to the deliverables where required.
Complete monthly invoicing and return all invoices to the Project Biller by deadline
Developing project schedules and coordinating resources
Monitoring budget and progress on projects
Providing mentoring and guidance to the project design team

4+ years of experience in a relevant industry, local experience in land development or municipal engineering projects preferred.
At least one year of exposure to project management and a basic understanding of project management principles and processes including overseeing accountability of project delivery metric
Post-secondary education and/or credentials such as P.Eng., AScT or equivalent preferred
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet commitment deadlines while working concurrently on multiple projects
Demonstrated experience in communicating with internal and external stakeholders in a professional consulting environment.
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and personal vehicle.
Solid civil engineering design experience and progressive project management experience.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple complex projects.
