Student Project Coordinator assisting with IT project activities and communications at BioScript Solutions, providing administrative and analytical support to project teams.
Responsibilities
Assist with planning and coordinating project meetings, including preparing agendas, distributing invitations, and capturing meeting minutes and action items
Maintain and organize project documentation, records, and artifacts in accordance with PMO standards
Support day-to-day administrative activities for assigned IT projects
Assist in maintaining project schedules, timelines, and deliverables under the direction of the Project Manager
Track project performance metrics, milestones, and progress indicators
Compile project data and help prepare status updates, dashboards, and progress reports
Serve as a point of contact for routine project communications between internal teams and external resources (e.g., vendors), as directed by the Project Manager
Communicate project plans, actions, risks, and issues to team members in accordance with PMO guidance
Assist in escalating risks, issues, and dependencies to the Project Manager in line with the project work plan
Support the Project Manager in monitoring task assignments and resource utilization
Help ensure project team members are aware of timelines, expectations, and deliverables
Assist in managing coordination between multiple teams working on the same project
Identify and flag coordination challenges or process gaps and suggest improvements
Gain experience with PMO tools, templates, and governance processes
Participate in project reviews and lessons learned sessions as appropriate
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (e.g., Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently while following defined processes and guidance
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
English proficiency is required for this position to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Bilingualism (French and English) may be required depending on the specific role, location, and the needs of the organization.
