About the role

  • Manager, People & Culture at a professional services company focused on technical solutions for non-profits. Supporting employee experience and people development initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and support company-wide culture initiatives including retreats, recognition programs, celebrations, surveys and other employee engagement activities
  • Facilitate and support in the delivery of company All-Hands meetings and Lunch & Learns
  • Gather employee feedback through formal and informal channels, identify trends, and recommend improvements that strengthen our workplace culture
  • Own and execute on the entire employee lifecycle – From onboarding to offboarding and everything in between
  • Own and manage our HRIS, HiBob, including data updates, reporting requests, and platform customizations
  • Drive our end-to-end employee recruitment lifecycle and early career support initiatives (Graduate & Co-Op programs)
  • Manage our Canadian and US benefits plans through our broker and respective providers
  • Support time tracking activities including managing time off balances, requests, approvals and updates
  • Partner with our Team Leads on their team management coaching needs
  • Own the end-to-end performance process including facilitating reviews, bonus calculations and designing and implementing growth and/or remedial strategies
  • Manage day-to-day employee relations matters, partnering with leadership on complex or escalated cases
  • Support the company Learning & Professional Development outcomes through engagement and completion monitoring of third-party platforms
  • Research & evaluate new learning & development opportunities to suit our company direction & strategy
  • Maintain and refresh our job levelling and salary banding frameworks using market benchmarking data, in partnership with leadership
  • Assist in the review, risk assessment and maintenance of our compliance documents, including contracts, policies and work eligibility requirements

Requirements

  • 7 years' progressive HR/People Operations experience with no less than 3 years in a senior generalist/people leadership capacity, ideally in the technology and/or consulting industries
  • Demonstrated experience with strategic planning input, including role design and reward framework application
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities across various stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
