Responsibilities
Support the Technology PMO in governing and advancing delivery excellence across Lifeco by contributing to research, analysis, reporting, and operational oversight.
Support Canada Life’s Project Portfolio Management platform (Clarity) by helping to collect requirements, manage test data and participate in testing.
Support development of updated Resource Management processes by working with project managers and resource managers to review project intake requests, team member assignments, and by identifying and addressing allocation issues.
Contribute to Centralized Reporting by compiling, validating, and synthesizing portfolio-level insights using Clarity, and by working with the data analysis and reporting team to develop and update reports and dashboards.
Collaborate with PMO Mentors to learn PMO methodologies and best practices.
Requirements
Must be a student registered in a Canadian College or University.
Preference will be given to students enrolled in a registered Co-op program.
2-3 years of academic or practical experience in business, technology, analytics, or related fields.
Strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with Power BI is an asset.
Curiosity about technology strategy, delivery practices, and governance frameworks.
Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
Collaborative mindset, open to feedback and comfortable working in a team.
