Responsibilities
- Support the Technology PMO in governing and advancing delivery excellence across Lifeco by contributing to research, analysis, reporting, and operational oversight.
- Support Canada Life’s Project Portfolio Management platform (Clarity) by helping to collect requirements, manage test data and participate in testing.
- Support development of updated Resource Management processes by working with project managers and resource managers to review project intake requests, team member assignments, and by identifying and addressing allocation issues.
- Contribute to Centralized Reporting by compiling, validating, and synthesizing portfolio-level insights using Clarity, and by working with the data analysis and reporting team to develop and update reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with PMO Mentors to learn PMO methodologies and best practices.
Requirements
- Must be a student registered in a Canadian College or University.
- Preference will be given to students enrolled in a registered Co-op program.
- 2-3 years of academic or practical experience in business, technology, analytics, or related fields.
- Strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with Power BI is an asset.
- Curiosity about technology strategy, delivery practices, and governance frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Collaborative mindset, open to feedback and comfortable working in a team.
- Strong time-management skills and attention to detail.
