About the role

  • Bilingual Aeronautic Project Manager at Capgemini Engineering managing aerospace projects in a hybrid environment. Requires aerospace experience and project management skills with bilingual proficiency in English and French.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and oversee the complete engineering activity schedule.
  • Support the R&O (Risks & Opportunities) process (create the risk register, identify potential project risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans).
  • Provide mitigation plans for the risks of each project in the assigned portfolio.
  • Analyze workload against capacity.
  • Lead and coordinate engineering activities while managing change control and deliverables.
  • Define and control project scope for each phase.
  • Identify and report issues.
  • Participate in problem resolution and recovery plans.
  • Drive projects through governance and internal change management processes.
  • Track and ensure delivery of project deliverables and maintain dashboard updates.
  • Prepare detailed project performance reports, including cost, schedule, scope and quality.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between team members, cross‑functional departments and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of aerospace engineering
  • Project management experience
  • Project management tools (MS Project, Google Workspace)
  • Stakeholder management and communication
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Interpersonal skills (attention to detail, adaptability, time management)
  • Fluent in French and English
